Shark skin - This image of shark skin was obtained using an electron micrograph and shows the secret behind a sharks speed in water as it passes quickly through the microgrooves with little resistance. Nature has always played a key role in the inspiration behind my own work with its efficient elegance. Shark skin recently provided the inspiration for speedo's new swim suit.

iYO YO-YO

Green Gadget - This is Apples idea for a green power source for iPhones and other handheld devices. Swedish designer Peter Thuvander states it only requires 30 cranks to fully charge the portable device which houses its lithium battery. Handy in an emergency i reckon.
